Christine's background is in the healing arts, and when she introduced sound tools into her repertoire she began to notice profound shifts in her own state of being. Sound, she says, can create synthesis with other modalities. It's as if the resonance of the sound waves transfers energy through the layers of the auric field and the body, harmonizing all these levels and enhancing well-being. The intent is that the sound wave be in your higest good, that it move you further towards peace and balance.

It's inspiring to see audience members demonstrating how very small choices can have a big impact on creating safety within any situation.
You can make reservations at 604-871-0508. There’s also going to be a live telecast: Sun. Dec. 10 at 8:00 pm on SHAW TV Cable 4.

art exhibit: camerman meets radha
February 1 - 28 Viewing times during eatery hours
My name is cameraman and I have put up some photography in the beautiful and bright Radha space. I an bringing not work of my own, but that from an unknown photographer who captured landscapes of France and England in the 1920’s on cyanotype slides. I found his work in a wooden box at the dirt mall, and purchased each of his destroyed works for fifty cents apiece. The chemicals between the glass windows have reacted with moisture from the environment and created amazing distortions and clouds of strangeness in the photographs.I have photo-documented the five pieces and blown them up using a computer and Xerox machine on giant four foot by four foot black and white particle boards. The images will be on display for the first time in almost one hundred years on rent day. My personal work can be viewed at http://picasaweb.google.com/hellocameraman . and I can be reached at hellocameraman@gmail.com .

Sunday March 25, 10:30am - 2:00pm
Join us for a delightful vegan brunch and divine live music, featuring ::: Dyad -- www.dyadband.ca -- www.myspace.com/dyad3
Dyad digs deep into the song and instrumental traditions found in the Appalachian mountain region of the USA. Over 100 years ago, songs were like gazettes, with the singer relating the story of a lover, the accused, the wronged, and the cruelty of fate. Public hangings were as much entertainment as they were a reckoning – sound like a reality show? Dyad sees the correlation between events of the past and those of the present day, taking on the role of storytellers for a new generation of listeners.
Dyad has shared the stage with such diverse acts and The Be Good Tanyas, The New Lost City Ramblers, The Mammals, and electronica giants IQU. In 2006, Dyad performed at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival and was nominated for the Best New/Emerging Artist at the Canadian Folk Music Awards. Their songs are currently played on CBC and independent radio stations across Canada and the USA.

Having been reared an indeterminate period of time by goats in the Spanish Pyrennes, they became a minor sensation within the scientific community, hailed by the Weekly World News as "the Mysterious Yodeling Goat Children of Andora". In the wake of this initial commotion, however, they have been paid relatively little media attention, save a brief foray by Jack into the hound-dog-eat-hound-dog world of Elvis impersonation during his adolescence. Having by the 21st century fully assumed their earthly personas, Martin and Jack are presently reclining on a picnic blanket composing their biography with the ambition of untold fame and fortune therefrom.
